How it works
Rent, or rent out your own equipment, with secure online payment, a deposit and a photo handover record — transparent from the first request to the final review. Providers also rent from their colleagues here, under the same rules.
For renters
Find & enquire
Search for equipment near you, choose your dates and handover method (collection during the provider’s opening hours, delivery or shipping) and send a no-obligation request. You can also ask the provider questions directly beforehand.
Provider confirms
The provider reviews your request personally and confirms it bindingly — including the rental agreement as a PDF. If the dates don’t suit, they propose different ones; you see the new total and decide.
Pay securely
You pay the rental online by credit card or TWINT — directly to the provider through our payment partner, within 72 hours of their confirmation and no later than the start of the rental. The deposit is not charged in advance: it is held on your card two days before the rental starts and released once the items are returned without damage; it is only charged in the event of damage, after review.
Handover & return with photo record
At handover and return you both document the condition with photos taken straight from your phone and confirm it on both sides. This protects everyone.
Deposit back & reviews
Once the items are returned without damage, the deposit is released automatically. Finally, you review each other.
Every booking is protected — by the deposit, the mandatory photo record at handover and return, and clear liability rules in the rental agreement. Some providers also bring their own insurance — you can see this directly on the listing under “Deposit, insurance & conditions”.
Venues & service providers — on request
Halls, seminar rooms, caterers, DJs, photo & video and more are available as listings — without online booking, but with a direct line to the provider.
Compare transparently
Capacities, facilities, suitability, company and address are shown openly in the listing; website and phone number are shown for listings with a package. Prices are on request, as is usual in the industry.
Enquire without obligation
Use the enquiry box to describe your event (date, guests, wishes) and chat directly with the provider — you may exchange contact details here, and files such as quotes or floor plans can be sent right in the chat.
Agree directly
Quote, viewing and contract are arranged directly with the provider — with no platform fee for you. These providers are also vetted and verified by mietagentur.ch.

Review & activation
We review every provider profile before activating it — business registration, identity, quality. No anonymous marketplace.
List & confirm
Add your items (with AI assistance), keep your calendar and opening hours up to date and decide on every request yourself — confirm, decline or propose different dates.
Get paid
Once the rental is complete, you receive your share minus commission directly into your account. If the customer comes via the booking button on your own website, a significantly lower rate applies.
Offering a venue or a service? Same verification, different model: interested parties contact you directly, and there is no commission. The basic listing is free (two delivered enquiries per month); with an annual package, your website and “Show number” appear in the listing and every enquiry reaches you without limit. You answer enquiries conveniently in the marketplace inbox.
