Your customers, our processing

You have a website but no shop with contract, payment and deposit? Add our booking button or calendar. Your customers book with you — Mietagentur.ch does the rest. And because you won the customer yourself, you pay a significantly reduced commission for it — you can see the rate in your portal.

Example: a florist. Besides bouquets, Sara rents out her flower bar and vase sets for weddings. Before: endless emails back and forth, a rental agreement as a PDF, the deposit in cash at handover. Now her website has a button “Book online now – vetted & protected”. The customer books and pays securely, the deposit is held on her card automatically, the photo record runs through the app — and after the wedding Sara receives her payout together with the statement. Her effort: pasting the code once.

In the provider portal under “For your website”, choose the item and copy the code for the badge, booking button or calendar — with one click.

Paste it into your website

Every website builder has an HTML or embed block. Paste the code, save, done — you will find instructions for the common systems below.

Customer books — the marketplace takes over

The click leads to your item page on the marketplace. From here, rental agreement, payment, deposit, photo record, reminders and payout run automatically. All you do is confirm the request.

What this means for you

Same rental, same service — only the commission differs, depending on who brought the customer. For the customer, nothing changes in the price.

You can see the actual rates in your provider portal (reverse calculator). The rate is fixed at the time of the request — rates only apply to future bookings. The “website lead” attribution happens automatically via a token in the snippet link; only the code from your portal contains it.

Rental agreement

A fair standard rental agreement as a PDF, accepted online by both sides.

Secure payment

Credit card or TWINT — payment directly to you, payout minus commission after the return.

Deposit

Held automatically on your customer’s card and released once the items are returned without damage; in the event of damage, we charge it in full or in part in your favour after review. You don’t have to chase anything.

Photo record

Handover and return documented with photos — if there is damage, the record counts, not anyone’s word.

Reminders & calendar

Payment and return reminders sent automatically; your calendar stays in one system.

Payout & statement

Once the rental is complete, you receive your share along with a statement of the commission.

  1. Edit page → “Add element” → “More elements” → “HTML”.
  2. Paste the snippet, save.
Wix+
  1. “Add” → “Embed Code” → “Embed HTML” (Embed a Widget).
  2. Paste the snippet into the code field, adjust the size, click “Update”.
WordPress (Gutenberg)+
  1. Insert a “Custom HTML” block.
  2. Paste the snippet — check it in the Preview tab, then publish.
Squarespace+
  1. Add a “Code” block (type HTML).
  2. Paste the snippet — leave “Display Source” switched off.
Webflow+
  1. Drag the “Embed” element (Custom Code) onto the page.
  2. Paste the snippet, save, publish.
Other builders / custom code+
  1. Almost every system has an “HTML” or “Embed” block.
  2. The button is a normal link and the calendar an iFrame — both work anywhere HTML is allowed.

Frequently asked questions

Does my customer pay more via the website?+
No. The price is the same as on the marketplace — only your commission is lower, because you brought the customer.
Does my customer have to create an account?+
Yes, a quick account with a confirmed email address and mobile number — this protects both sides (contract, deposit, photo record). Signing in with Google takes seconds.
Can I use the button for several items?+
Each item has its own snippet — you choose the item in the portal. For an overview, simply link to your provider profile.
What about venues and services?+
There is no online booking for those; the button leads to a no-obligation enquiry in your marketplace inbox — with no commission, the listing package covers it.
I added the snippet earlier — does the lower rate still apply?+
Only snippets you copy from the portal from 16 September 2026 onwards contain the token. Older buttons keep working but are charged at the marketplace rate — please paste the code in again once.
